On Monday, comedian Devraj Patel, best known for his line from the viral video “Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai,” passed away in a Chhattisgarh road accident. According to the Free Press Journal, the actor and social media influencer was on his way to Raipur to shoot a comedy video.
Devraj Patel’s death was mourned by close to 60,000 Instagram followers and approximately 45,000 YouTube subscribers. Even Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel posted a vintage video of Devraj Patel on Twitter and referred to the incident as “tragic.”
“Devraj Patel, who made millions of people laugh with “Dil Se Bura Lagta Hai,” has passed away today. It is heartbreaking to see such amazing talent go at such a young age. God, please give his loved ones the strength to bear this loss. In Hindi, Baghel wrote, “Om Shanti.”
