Krishna Janmashtami in Rajasthan brings a huge influx of worshippers to Shrinathji Temple in Nathdwara. Shrinathji’s heavenly persona depicts Krishna as a young boy lifting the Govardhan hill.
Dwarkadhish Temple, Dwarka:
This temple, Dwarka, in Gujarat, is thought to have been built more than 2500 years ago by Vajranabh, Lord Krishna’s great-grandson. The ceremonies for Krishna Janmashtami draw a huge crowd of devotees.
